Raghu's NetLog

This is my personal weblog. There is no particular topic that I'm going to stick with. You can find articles about music, movies, technology, cricket, may be even little bit about politics. Please post your comments - good or bad. This will only encourage me in either way and improve my weblog.

Can't wait for Longhorn's WinFS? Try Copernic Desktop Search

Longhorn, new OS from Microsoft, is not due to release for atleast 2 years. And it may not even come with the most talked feature, WinFS. Using WinFS, you can search for any files on your desktop in seconds, unlike the search program that came with Windows Operating Systems until now. So, if you can't wait for that long, try Copernic Desktop Search Engine for PC. Right now, it is free, but Copernic plans to offer a paid version with advanced features in future.

There are lots of hard disk searching applications out there - many of them free of charge too. Take a look at this blog post of mine for links to several.
